I definitely like traveling. There are a variety of reasons why traveling is important in my life. First, it is an excellent way to relieve stress. Second, traveling gives me a chance to educate myself. That is, I can learn a new language, make new friends and learn about different cultures. I had some target places to travel every month when I was a student. However, I have been so busy after graduation to make my plan for traveling come true. I am trying to take more time to enjoy my life and one of the important things is to arrange schedules for traveling. Now I am going to tell you about my first trip to Hue imperial city when I only had four day-off.
We dropped off Hue in late afternoon on that day, the sky became dark and the weather became bad. It started to rain heavily and everybody felt so tired after a long trip, so we decided to stay in the hotel on the first day. The weather on the second day was much better, so we spent all day to visited tombs and palaces of the Nguyen dynasty. I had visited some ancient cities such as cities in Cambodia, Korea, Thailand. However, I realized that the patterns and architecture here were very special and grave. In the past, Hue was Vietnam's former Royal Capital under the Nguyen dynasty which was affected by France's conception. The materials for these buildings were imported from many markets all over the world and they were chosen carefully by the kings. Most of tombs and palaces were huge, so it took us at least two hours to explore. Some located near the romantic Perfume river with a beautiful landscape. If you have a chance to stay at Hue, you must visit these places once.
If you are a top fan of Vietnamese foods, you must love Hue's foods too. Hue cuisines are an important part of the culture and history. They were served for loyal dynasty and mandarins in the Nguyen dynasty. The styles of the dishes are both luxurious and rustic. Much more Hue dishes are reviewed delicious by both local and international connoisseurs such as Mussel Rice, Sweet Soup, Rice cake, etc. In my opinion, I love Mussel rice and Hue noodle very much. It is easy to buy these dishes in Saigon where I am living. However, such foods that are made by Hue people are different and very Hue. You can have a delicious meal with a very cheap price, but it was also little. I have to order twice to have enough for my stomach.
All in all, I love Hue not only because of the beautiful landscape but also the delicious food. I will visit Hue again as soon as I have a chance. How about you, please tell me about your experiment when you visit Hue in the comment box below.
